bc medien ag is a privately held, independent, public limited company based in Münchenstein near Basel and has around 40 employees. It was established in 2008 following the merger of a conventional offset printing company and a new media agency.

The majority of our print products are produced by us in Münchenstein/Basel, while a few are produced by our long-time regional partners.
We try to avoid the generation of CO2 emissions throughout our entire production process wherever possible.
Any greenhouse gas emissions produced are compensated for by the climate protection projects organised by the myclimate foundation. Through this collaboration, bc medien ag complies with the Kyoto Protocol. This is our contribution towards tackling the global climate problem.
Paper from environmentally appropriate and socially beneficial forest management thanks to FSC® certification
onlinedruck.ch by bc medien ag is FSC® certified (IMO-COC-028239) and uses paper from forests managed in an environmentally and socially sustainable way.
We will produce your printed materials according to FSC® criteria, from the wood processing through to the finished product.
On request we will gladly help you add the FSC label to your print products.
onlinedruck.ch by bc medien ag is Viscom certified and bears the Viscom sustainability label. It is based on a strict catalogue of criteria, which were drawn up in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (BBL).
The label guarantees compliance with minimum standards. And it is built upon a stable foundation: five pillars ensure sustainable production along the entire value chain. In addition to compliance with the printing industry’s collective labour agreement (CLA), the label’s criteria also include workplace safety, active contribution towards vocational training, environmentally friendly operating procedures, and the processing and handling of orders in accordance with current technological considerations.
With around 750 member companies, Viscom is the leading business and employer’s association in the printing industry. Viscom includes classic print companies as well as companies involved in conception, design, manufacturing and distribution of processed, visual information.
